Today I ran across a guy with a GitHub full of high quality vim plugins. In particular there is vim-pathogen, which makes it very easy to install these plugins from there. This makes it almost feel like a package manager.
I installed a few of them, and will now see whether I actually pick them up in my work flow. If not they will go again, which fortunately is also very easy. One of the most promising candidates is vim-fugitive, because I use git a lot, so there is a high chance that I won't forget about the plugin in between uses.
